The object of the analysis in this article is the discourse of «cultural integration of mi-grants» – an acute issue for contemporary Russia. The subject of the research is methodologi-cal aspects of its deconstruction. Scientific novelty of the work consists in the critical under-standing of seemingly «self-evident» and «reflecting reality» constructs, which represent different ways of integrating the cultures of migrants and the local population. Scientific novelty also lies in practical recommendations aimed at construction of potentially non-confrontational understanding of migrants’ problems.
