The article deals with the analysis of the possibilities of application of Weber’s sociology to the problems of formation, development and functioning of capitalism. The perspectives of using Weber models in modern theoretical discourse and the conjugation of the classical heritage of Max Weber to the modern theories which are implicitly and explicitly linked to his work are considered in the article.
