The article deals with the personality and pedagogical activity of the literary of scholar E.P. Baryshnikov. The author shares his memories in which E.P. Baryshnikov appears as a wise teacher and a devotee scientist. N. M. Valeev describes the features of the difficult era, which was the creative rise of his teacher. This article is a sign of gratitude to a talented teacher, for his pedagogical service to young people.
