A.V. Gamurak To the question of revitalization of public spaces on the example of center for cultural development “Molodezhnyy” (Stary Oskol, Belgorod region)

Considering the essential issues of revitalization of urban public spaces in the context of urbanism, the author  considers an example of the renewal of public space in Stary Oskol, Belgorod region, where the work on the project involved in the process of interaction both representatives of regional authorities, business structures, landscaping organizations, and citizens. In the proposed solution, based on the principles of participatory design, special attention was paid to the landscape design of the urban environment – as one of the key principles of revitalization.
