The article deals with the phenomenon of happiness and its interpretation in the youth environment. A sociological study conducted using the method of a survey, allowed us to identify the most significant aspects that contribute to the awareness of happiness, as well as obstacles that cause difficulties in feeling happy. It is proved that modern youth, despite the subjectivity in the perception of happiness, notes the value of health, every moment of life, hard work, a strong family, which together are virtues correlated with the virtues of Aristotle and have a universal character.
