The material is the first commented publication of a chapter of autobiographical research, done by an outstanding psychologist, professor of Moscow University N.A. Rybnikov. A native of the Ranenburg, district of Ryazan province, he received his primary education at Ranenburg Theological School. The chapter «Adolescence» gives a vivid description of the teaching staff of the school, analyzes the educational process and reveals its features, shows the life and customs of students. The published chapter contains a rich local history material that allows us to clarify certain aspects of the history of spiritual education on Ranenburg land.
