The article considers a web quest – a lesson format aimed at ensuring that most of the information that students work with is obtained from the Internet. This format makes it possible to use the Internet effectively, involving their students in the thought processes that are necessary in the 21st century. In this regard, the preparation of future teachers for the implementation of web quests in further professional activities is relevant. Students should get familiarized with various services for creating electronic resources in the format of web quests. The article presents the conditions for such training and the possible use of information technologies for their implementation.
