The article provides an analytical review of the sources describing the activities of Duma clerk Larion Ivanov, one of the active participants of the “case” of patriarch Nikon. By combining the available sources, the author was able to ascertain a number of little-known facts related to the “case” of the deposed patriarch and his subsequent rehabilitation.
