Eliseev V.K., Korobova M.V. The school climate and its perception by the participants of the educational process in groups of children with learning difficulties

The article deals with the peculiarities of perception of school climate and assessment of its importance by the participants of the educational process –  different groups of students with learning difficulties, parents and teachers as an important factor in achieving academic success of students. The problem of this study is a contradiction, according to which, on the one hand, school climate, according to scientists, objectively acts as one of the leading factors of students’ academic success, on the other hand, its influence on academic performance is not so unambiguously perceived by teachers, students and their parents. According to the research results, it was revealed that the overwhelming part of teachers consider this dependence to be natural, however, only half of students and their parents share the statement that academic performance is largely determined by the school climate. It was also found that different categories of students with learning difficulties and their parents have different assessments of the importance of school climate for academic performance.

Key words: school climate, academic success, students with learning difficulties.
