In the ingenious combination of the Bolsheviks in the “Great Game” on the outskirts of British India “the revolutionary mission” of Djemal Pasha in Afghanistan in 1920 was assigned a key role. After the declassification of some Soviet diplomatic documents it becomes evident that the activities of the Young Turk leadership is not limited to diplomatic activity in Kabul in favor of Soviet Russia. He was supposed to pave the way for a “revolutionary” upheaval in Asia to undermine British rule in India, as evidenced by the report published by Djemal Pasha to Moscow.
