This article deals with the study of development of pedagogical traditions and techniques of Russian classical vocal school in 18th-19th centuries. The results of the research show that Russian vocal-pedagogical heritage is significant and has a great scientific potential. Its usage in practical classes will definitely improve the quality of modern vocal education.
