G.L. Zemtsov, D.V. Sarychev, E.V. Fabricius CARTOGRAPHY OF LATE ROMAN SETTLEMENTS IN THE BASIN OF THE RIVER BYSTRAYA SOSNA

The article discusses the spatial arrangement of monuments of the Kashirki-Zedelok type (mid-3th – early 4th  century AD) in the river basin of the Bystraya Sosna between the Lipetsk and Oryol regions. The conclusion is drawn about the systematic resettlement of residents in the late Roman time in the Upper Don region. In the basin of Bystraya Sosna river a more prolonged living of the population is recorded in comparison with other areas of distribution of  the monuments such as Kashirki-Zedelok.
