A.N. Dolgikh ON THE VIEWS OF B.I. SYROMYATNIKOV ON THE ERA OF PETER I

The article is devoted to criticism of the views of the famous historian of the first half of  20th century V. B. I. Syromyatnikov on the era of Peter I reforms, expressed in his book of 1943 «” Regular” state of Peter the Great and its ideology» . This book, because of its originality and atypical approaches, has presented serious interest  for  researchers of early Soviet historiography, and the  tendencies of the development of Russia in the first quarter of the 18th  century
