Abstract
The IMOiSPN Department of Political Science is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The MGLU archive, which has so far been almost untouched by researchers, preserves the files of foreign language department teachers. Among these teachers and original researchers, there are both well-known names and insufficiently studied ones, but they are undoubtedly bright, even outstanding personalities. The fates of historians, regional scientists, political scientists, as well as other specialists who have been teachers at MGLU over the years, require the grateful attention of a new generation. The article provides brief information about the Germanist, Honorary Professor of MGLU, Doctor of Historical Sciences, I.S. Kremer, a researcher of the history and diplomacy of France, Professor A.Z. Manfred, a specialist in economics and the history of the countries of the English-speaking countries, Professor I.S. Zvavich. I.S. Kremer devoted about half a century of his long creative life to international relations of the veteran movement, building bridges between veterans and participants in the Resistance of different countries. A.Z. Manfred and I.S. During the Great Patriotic War, Zvavich combined propaganda speeches on the acute topics of opposing fascism with a deep study of the history of Russian foreign policy and diplomatic protection of national interests. Due to the format of the work, the principle of historicism was used, which manifested itself in the collection of information from various verifiable, verified sources, and the method of generalization in order to present biographical information in a concise form, highlighting the details, which seem the most significant for characterizing the mentioned scientists as specialists in the field of regional studies and international relations. The personalities of the historians mentioned in the article and their career paths deserve the interest of a new generation of international relations researchers.
