The focus of the article is the content-methodological analysis of the educational area «Economic Risks» for applied mathematical preparation of the future bachelor of economics, which allows to reveal its research and didactic potential. This educational area is associated with the adoption of optimal management decisions in the face of uncertainty, incompleteness of information and risk, as well as the formation of model concepts of risk situations in the preparation of the future bachelor of economics.
