The article shows that the goals and the content of knowledge systematization should respond to the system of knowledge in science. The levels of systematization and generalization in the process of studying Chemistry have been characterized; the bases for each of them at different stages of studying the subject have been identified. Two ways of reconstructing the content of the studied material have been suggested and the requirements for selection and composition of tasks, performed mainly in the process of subject-subject relations between the teacher and the students, have been characterized.
