The article analyzes psychological and pedagogical training of postgraduate student, pointing out problem issues which need improvement. The main competencies that ensure readiness for teaching are formulated, and psychological and pedagogical conditions are defined, the implementation of which contributes to the increase of the level of intellectual activity of postgraduates and their involvement in pedagogical creativity. A set of organizational and methodological measures aimed at preparing graduate students for creative improvement of the educational process in a technical University is described.
