The article deals with the problem of tolerance formation among older preschoolers based on the material of children’s fiction. Special attention is paid to the formation of tolerance in children using reading “with continuation”; game situations; games-exercises; an imaginary dialogue between a child and a literary hero; children commenting on their drawings; games-dramatizations based on the material of children’s favorite works.
