The paper considers the system of additional professional education as an ecosystem, identifies its
main structural elements, defines the concept “ecosystem of additional professional education of a
university”. The author presents the results of ecosystem approach in the educational system concerning further professional education, studies and reveals the strategic guidelines for the development of the university further professional education ecosystem in order to develop transversal digital competences of the university students.
