The article reveals ideas of a student-centered approach to the formation of a digital educational environment for preschool educational institutions. The key idea is the mandatory pedagogical support of the child in his activities in the digital educational environment. The relevance of the topic of the article is revealed by the the fact of the spontaneous formation of the digital educational environment of preschool education, since this is a breakthrough innovation in preschool education, which has no analogues in the past, in this regard, it is necessary to develop appropriate theoretical and methodological foundations, starting with methodological approaches. Object of study: methodological approaches to the formation of the digital educational environment for preschool educational institutions. Subject of research: a personality-oriented approach to the formation of the digital educational environment for preschool educational institutions. The scientific novelty lies in the development of the ideas of a personality-oriented approach to the formation of the digital educational environment for preschool educational institutions. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization, interpretation of scientific literature.
