This article considers social partnership as a social institution. Labour sphere as a sphere of social life is characterized by a high conflict-generating potential, which determines the need for partnership development as a system directed at regulation labour relations in order to minimize destructive consequences of socio-labour conflicts. In Russia the system of social partnership is just at the stage of its development and in theory it is an effective way to prevent and settle socio-labour conflicts. The relevance of social partnership lies in the search for effective ways to realize the ideas of social partnership in order to minimize destructive conflicts. The object of the study is socio-labour relations. The subject of the research is the institute of social partnership as a tool to prevent labour conflicts. The result of the research is the programme on the prevention of socio-labour conflicts with the help of social partnership methods.
