The article analyzes research in the field of psychological and pedagogical aspects of the problem of professional training of future drivers in a driving school, it is emphasized that the predictors of risky driving are the negative psychological characteristics of future drivers. The object of the research is professional training of future drivers in the driving school. The subject of the research is the analysis of how fully the problem of professional training of future drivers in driving school is covered in psychological-pedagogical literature. The expected result of the research is to substantiate scientifically the importance of studying this problem in the framework of noxological approach to formation of future drivers’ readiness to identify dangers and estimate risks on the roads in order to prevent, minimize and eliminate risk to ensure safety of human life and increase drivers’ professional reliability. The propensity to take risks is considered as one of the most important factors in the formation of a driver’s behavior model. In this regard, the need to improve the general culture of driving, in-depth psychological training of cadets of driving schools, as well as the development of individual training programs in accordance with the professional requirements for drivers of different categories is substantiated.
