Abstract

The Soviet school during the period of its functioning in the conditions of dynamic transformations (20-30 years twentieth century: NEP, industrialization, collectivization) showed not only sustainable development after the negative factors associated with the hardships caused by military intervention and the Civil War, but also confidently moved forward, making progressive development in cooperation between teachers and students, forming continuity for training personnel for their subsequent education and upbringing in technical schools and universities. It served as a pedagogical platform for meeting the nees of industry and the national economy of the country. All of this was made possible by the collaboration between teachers and students, who worked together with representatives of the Soviets and educational departments in the Soviet state. Each significant fact in the article is supported by statistical data that confirms the author’s arguments. The article demonstrates the close collaboration between these institutions and other government agencies in creating an era of enlightenment throughout Soviet Russia, despite the challenges posed by foreign intervention and the Civil War. Two stages have been identified in the formation of the school education and training system, as well as the educational environment. The system was created on the basis of the continuity of the past, with limited resources available, in the state, suffering from foreign intervention and the Civil War. The article clarifies how the pedagogical skills of Soviet teachers were developed, their training, and the continuity in their education, taking into account the rich experience of pre-revolutionary Russia. The conclussions the author comes to are supported with relevant statistical data.
