One of the components of high-quality mathematical education is the reflexive activity of students. The article presents the results of the analysis of students ‘ attitude to the study of probability theory and mathematical statistics. Questioning of students from MF-3 and FM-3 groups was carried out twice. Methods of correlation analysis were used for the study. The study revealed that students’ assessment of their knowledge in the subject was stable in the course of time. The author makes the conclusion that value-based and emotional attitude to the subject in the students’ assessment of their knowledge plays a key role.
