The article considers the technological discourse as a special tool and a stable pattern of increasing the level of professional competence of a young teacher. The necessity and possibility of using mentoring technologies and others (budding, mentoring, shadowing, coaching), taking into account their features, are shown. The key parameters of the technologies (target characteristics, theoretical and methodological features, content and functional value; possible pedagogical risks and application errors; construction of checklists) are identified.
