Vlasov D.A. Special features of the development of diagnostic materials for the academic discipline «The theory of decision-making»

This article presents the methodological features of the development of diagnostic materials for the academic discipline “Decision Theory”, the content of which reveals the possibilities of quantitative methods and mathematical modeling to improve the quality of decisions. In the context of the mathematization of all areas of an economist’s activity, this academic discipline is important for improving the competitiveness of graduates of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in economics. Taking into account the methodological features identified in the course of experimental work at the Higher School of Economics helps to reduce uncertainty in the educational process, ensures timely and adequate diagnosis of educational results, including key and professionally significant competencies formed by means of the academic discipline “Decision Theory”. The role of the thesaurus for the development of skills in using the conceptual apparatus of decision theory is demonstrated. The content of the control and measurement materials includes a new system of standard tasks (6 tasks of the basic level, 20 tasks of the advanced level), covering various issues in the field of decision-making theory, which allows to organize the diagnosis of the results of educational and cognitive activity of students, taking into account modern trends in the mathematization of economics and the specifics of the implemented areas of bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics.
