The article discusses various tools for the formation of traditional family values among cadets of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The research methods were theoretical analysis, analysis of the results of educational activities of higher education organizations, generalization of pedagogical and psychological sources. The formation of traditional family values among cadets of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is due to the context of complex processes taking place in modern society, expressed in the reassessment of cultural values of previous generations, the violation of continuity in the transfer of social and cultural experience.
