The article considers the principles of artpedagogy as a presently topical means of promoting the Russian language on the African continent, specifically in the Central African Republic (CAR), since staging has been and remains a permanent factor of African culture and can currently contribute to intercultural communication, as the Russian Federation today aims at strengthening its position in the geopolitical sphere. The object of the study is the culture of traditional African society and its correlation with the elements of “theatre pedagogy” as part of the art-pedagogical field. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the fact that there are no works on the implementation of the Language-and-Drama projects that cultivate interest in learning the Russian language and Russian culture and contribute to the communicative process in the Central African Republic.
