Theoretical and methodological aspects of professional training of future artists-teachers

Abstract

This article addresses the theoretical and methodological aspects of the professional training of future artists of teachers. Attention is drawn to the decrease in students’ need for drawing, to their low level of activity and independence in educational activities, which will not sufficiently contribute to meeting the modern requirements for the professional training of future artists-teachers. The author associates this problem with the students’ unwillingness to work in conditions of reduced hours for classroom work, increased hours for independent work. It is difficult for students, especially freshmen, to perform methodically competently a  task in a drawing without a prompting teacher. In the context of the mentioned problems, it is recommended to organize the educational process in such a way that future artists-teachers will develop an interest in drawing, in studying advanced technologies and methods of foreign and domestic schools in the fine arts.
